Job summary

The Working Earth in Randburg is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow key client relationships in cosmetics activations. You will develop and pitch activation concepts, manage campaigns end to end, and coordinate budgets, suppliers and logistics to ensure timely, high-standard delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in events/experiential marketing, cosmetics industry experience, and a proven track record in sales, account growth and client-facing roles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in events, brand activations, experiential or shopper marketing.
• Cosmetics industry experience is essential.
• Proven account management and client-facing experience.
• Strong track record in sales, revenue generation and account growth.
• Experience delivering events and brand activations end to end.
• Strong project, budget and supplier management skills.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with retail, in-store or centre-court activations would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key client accounts.
• Identify new business and revenue opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and pitch creative event and activation solutions.
• Manage events and campaigns from brief and costing through to execution.
• Coordinate suppliers, venues, staffing, production and logistics.
• Manage campaign budgets, costs and margins.
• Drive client retention, account growth and repeat business.
• Ensure campaigns and activations are delivered on time and to a high standard.
