Placements24 is seeking a Corporate Events Chef for a contract-based role serving East London and beyond. The position focuses on delivering refined menus for board meetings, launches, and client dinners, with on-site event presence and remote planning duties.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fine dining or corporate catering, exceptional presentation, and strong menu costing skills. Travel to events is required; residency in or near East London is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Chef with a focus on fine dining, banqueting or corporate catering.
• Proven ability to create sophisticated menus for corporate clients.
• Impeccable culinary skills and presentation.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP and sanitation standards.
• Strong time management and interpersonal communication for client interactions.
• Willingness to travel to event locations and reside in/near East London.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality menus tailored to corporate events and client preferences.
• Prepare and present dishes meeting exacting standards for taste and appearance.
• Oversee food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
• Manage inventory, sourcing ingredients cost-effectively.
