About the Role

Our client seeks a talented and experienced Corporate Catering Chef to lead their busy catering kitchen located in Centurion, Gauteng . You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring that all culinary offerings meet our client's stringent standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative menus for corporate lunches, meetings, and events, catering to diverse dietary needs.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including food procurement, preparation, and quality control.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation in accordance with regulations.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Control food costs and manage inventory effectively to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
• Collaborate with the catering sales team to provide culinary expertise for client proposals and events.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of all catering orders.
• Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes.

Requirements

• A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Cook in a high-volume catering or restaurant environment, with at least 3 years in a relevant capacity.
