Placements24 is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the operations of a rapidly expanding international agricultural technology company from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will oversee production, supply chain, logistics, and customer support, translating the strategic vision into daily performance.

You will build a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance and cost-effective operations, and collaborate with the CEO and Board to scale the business through technology

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all operational aspects of the company, including production, supply chain, logistics, and customer support.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
• Ensure operational efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all business units.
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the operational departments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in operational management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with other C-suite executives to shape overall company strategy.
• Identify and implement new technologies and innovations to enhance operational capabilities.
• Monitor KPIs and report on operational performance to the CEO and Board of Directors.
