We have an amazing opportunity for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at a dynamic commercial/operations company based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is:

• To ensure the efficient, profitable, and sustainable operation of the business by providing strategic leadership, driving operational efficiency, and overseeing performance across all operational functions to support shareholder objectives.

We require a candidate with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Commerce, Engineering, Agriculture, or Operations Management (MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of senior management experience with a proven track record in operational leadership, business growth, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong financial, commercial, and strategic acumen, alongside expertise in risk, compliance, and stakeholder management (experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or distribution advantageous).
