Job summary

Sasol is a global integrated chemicals and energy company seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Secunda, Mpumalanga. You will oversee engineering maintenance processes, ensure equipment availability, and manage budgets to support mining production targets.

Role requires engineering knowledge, adherence to SHE standards, and strong leadership to coach teams and implement SOPs within a disciplined maintenance program.

Qualifications

• Senior National Certificate / N3 with Mathematics and Physical Science required.
• Trade certificate in electro-mechanics or electrical discipline.
• Diploma in Electrical (advantageous) helps; Flameproof certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering maintenance processes to meet production targets.
• Manage maintenance strategies and overhaul plans in area of responsibility.
• Control costs and ensure maintenance within budget.
• Ensure equipment availability and manage downtime, MTTR/MTTF.
• Implement SOPs and ensure governance, safety, and compliance.
