Responsibilities

• Manage the conveyancing process from instruction to final deeds registration.
• Draft and execute transfer documents including deeds of sale, bonds and cancellations.
• Coordinate with banks to ensure mortgage registrations and cancellations proceed smoothly.
• Perform due diligence on titles and resolve defects.
• Liaise with estate agents, buyers, sellers and stakeholders to maintain flow of transactions.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and respected law firm in Upington , seeks a meticulous and efficient Conveyancing Attorney to manage its property transfer practice. This role is central to facilitating the seamless transfer of ownership for residential and commercial properties, ensuring all legal formalities and registrations are completed accurately and promptly. You will liaunt closely with estate agents, banks, and other parties involved in property transactions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire conveyancing process, from initial instructions to the final registration of deeds.


• Draft and execute all necessary transfer documents, including deeds of sale, bonds, and cancellations.


• Liaise with financial institutions to ensure mortgage bond registrations and cancellations proceed smoothly.


• Conduct due diligence on property titles and resolve any title defects.


• Liaise with estate agents, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction flow.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing property transfers.
