About the Role

You will work closely with production teams and other engineering disciplines to optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative automation solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Develop and maintain control system software, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on existing control systems, identifying root causes of failure and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate control systems into new and existing machinery and processes.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including control logic, network diagrams, and operating manuals for the George facility.
• Stay abreast of new technologies in automation and control systems, proposing upgrades and improvements.

Requirements
