Job summary

ENGIE South Africa is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee end-to-end contract management for multi-party renewable energy projects, including EPC, O&M, PPA, land leases, and LTSA. The role involves governance, risk management, and close collaboration with operations, finance, procurement, and legal teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract administration, commercial drafting, and claims management within energy or infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in commercial law or project management is advantageous.
• 7–10 years in contract management for energy or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, issue and manage formal contractual correspondence and notices.
• Maintain notices registers and ensure timely communications.
• Develop and maintain obligations trackers and compliance reporting.
• Oversee cost management: invoices, cost certificates, and budgets.
• Support procurement and negotiation across EPC, O&M, PPA, LTSA, and service agreements.
