Job summary

ENGIE South Africa is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the governance, administration, and interpretation of multi-party contracts across renewable energy projects from inception to close-out.

Based at Head Office – Bryanston, you will provide contractual and commercial support to project teams, while identifying risks, managing claims and variations, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years’ relevant experience in contract management within energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience negotiating EPC, O&M, PPA, LTSA and related agreements.
• Strong drafting, liaison, and governance skills.
• Experience working with lenders, external counsel, and project stakeholders is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer EPC, O&M, PPA, land lease, LTSA, and service agreements.
• Develop and maintain obligations trackers and monitor compliance.
• Coordinate notices, amendments, and contract governance with internal teams and lawyers.
• Oversee claims, variations, disputes, and resolution support.
• Provide commercial analysis, reporting, and governance updates to management.
