Job summary

The Recruitment Pig seeks a seasoned Contracts Manager or Senior Site Agent to lead major asphalt surfacing projects across the region. You will oversee contracts, guide teams, and ensure timelines and budgets are met.

Ideal candidates bring 10–15 years in civil road construction, strong GCC and variation-claim experience, and professional registration (advantageous).

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of civil road construction and asphalt surfacing project experience.
• At least five years at Contracts Manager or Senior Site Agent level.
• Strong track record delivering major SANRAL, provincial, or municipal highway paving contracts.
• In-depth understanding of GCC contracts, project costing, and variation claim management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple active asphalt surfacing, road milling, and rehabilitation contracts across the region.
• Guide and support Site Agents, surfacing supervisors, and paving teams to hit project deadlines.
• Coordinate supply programs with asphalt batch plants to maintain continuous paver laying speeds.
• Manage monthly payment certificates, contract variation claims, and project budgets under GCC contracts.
• Ensure paving operations comply with COLTO, SANRAL, and road engineering quality standards.
• Allocate specialized pavers, milling machines, rollers, and transport fleets to maximize daily productivity.
• Maintain professional relationships with consulting engineers, client representatives, and road authorities.

What You Need to Apply
