Job summary

DSV in Germiston is seeking an Operations Manager for Contract Logistics to lead the site and ensure smooth end-to-end operations. You will drive EBIT targets, cost control, and ensure SLA/KPI compliance while maintaining stock accuracy and high safety standards.

Reporting to the site leadership, you will manage a multi-skilled team, uphold ISO/HSE compliance, and foster client relationships to renew contracts. A tertiary qualification with 3-5 years' relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in contract logistics.
• Advantageous: GDP/GWP compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage EBIT targets and operational budgets.
• Ensure safety, training, and housekeeping standards are met.
• Maintain daily stock accuracy and client system alignment.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and documentation support.
• Drive cost reviews and maintain cost-efficiency month-to-month.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and legal requirements.
