Job summary

Origin Wine Stellenbosch is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper for a 12-month contract to manage creditor workflows and ensure accurate records. The role requires processing invoices, credit notes, and payments in SAGE, with attention to VAT and multi-currency considerations.

You will reconcile creditor statements, maintain the creditor database, and support monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and treasury reporting, within deadlines and with a collaborative Finance

Qualifications

• Post Matric qualification in accounting or financial administration.
• Experience with creditors processing and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of VAT legislation and multi-currency processing.
• Proficiency with SAGE.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices/credit notes and purchase orders on SAGE daily.
• Process creditor payments and ensure VAT compliance.
• Reconcile creditor records to statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation.
