Placements24 is seeking a creative and strategic Content Strategist to drive our e-commerce content initiatives. This fully remote role lets you shape compelling narratives from anywhere and contribute to brand awareness, engagement, and sales through optimized product descriptions, blogs, and social content.

You will leverage SEO, CMS experience, and audience segmentation to deliver measurable content strategies across digital platforms and collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Content Strategist to drive their e-commerce content initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that enhances brand awareness, improves customer engagement, and supports sales objectives across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and audience segmentation, passionate about creating impactful digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the e-commerce platform, blog, and social media channels.
• Create, edit, and optimize high-quality content, including product descriptions, blog posts, articles, and social media updates.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and organic traffic.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Content Marketer, or similar role, with a focus on e-commerce.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful content strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field is preferred.
