Job summary

Mama Money is seeking a Content and Social Media Coordinator to drive the day-to-day management of our social channels across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, and to grow an influencer network across Africa and key diaspora markets. You will own a structured content calendar, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across platforms.

We value 3+ years in social media marketing, fintech experience, and a proven ability to work independently from concept to execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of social media marketing & coordination experience, preferably in fintech/faster-paced digital environments.
• Proven ability to independently own social channels, content calendars and campaign execution across multiple platforms.
• Strong experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp and LinkedIn; influencer marketing and community growth.
• Ability to use digital tools (e.g., ChatGPT, scheduling and analytics platforms) effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills with the initiative to drive ideas from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day management, scheduling, publishing, and optimization of Mama Money’s social channels across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
• Independently manage a structured content calendar ensuring high-quality, timely execution across platforms.
• Build and grow an influencer network across South Africa and key diaspora markets; manage relationships and campaign execution.
• Coordinate social media competitions, promotions, and incentive-based campaigns with planning, administration and performance tracking.
• Plan and execute integrated social media campaigns linked to product launches, marketing initiatives and community engagement.
• Own social media reporting and performance analysis including engagement, reach, growth, and campaign ROI.
• Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations to improve content and strategy.
