Formación

• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory civil construction role.
• Experience on infrastructure projects such as roads, earthworks, and pipelines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation (e.g., OHS Act) and site safety management.
• Experience with managing subcontractors and coordinating various trades.
• Trade qualification or certificate in construction supervision is a plus.

About the Role

Our client, a reputable civil engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee various infrastructure projects in and around Paarl, Western Cape . This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills. You will be directly responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating labor, and liaising with engineers and subcontractors. This is a hands-on position requiring significant on-site presence in the Paarl region.
