Placements24 is seeking a diligent Construction Site Supervisor to oversee residential development projects in Port Elizabeth. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress in line with project specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, practical construction knowledge, and coordination with tradespeople and suppliers to deliver high-quality homes for the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in residential construction.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily construction activities on residential sites in Port Elizabeth, ensuring adherence to building plans and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and site personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and quality of work.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor material procurement and site stock, ensuring timely availability of resources and minimizing waste.
• Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, incident reports, and quality control documentation.
• Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, organized, and secure manner at all times.
