Placements24 seeks an experienced Construction Foreman to supervise on-site activities in Port Elizabeth. You will lead daily crew tasks, ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications, and maintain safety and quality standards on the site.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in building trades, with strong leadership, communication, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents for Eastern Cape projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role in the building trade.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents relevant to construction projects in the Eastern Cape.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide work crews and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor and enforce strict health and safety regulations on the construction site.
