Placements24 in Welkom, Free State, seeks a Construction Project Engineer to support project delivery. You will assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

You will handle technical problem-solving, documentation management, and coordination between design and construction teams. The role offers growth and exposure to large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, PM principles, and CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in developing and managing project schedules and budgets.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and construction methods.
• Monitor site activities and conduct quality control checks.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare progress reports and assist with contract administration.
