Job summary

Africa Fuel Projects in Meyerton, Gauteng, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead site activities in accordance with Construction Regulation 8.1. You will manage teams, subcontractors and interface with clients, consultants and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant projects.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and communication, a solid knowledge of OHSA and Construction Regulations, proficiency in MS Project and MS Office, and willingness to travel and work away from home

Qualifications

• Meet requirements for appointment as Construction Manager – CR 8.1.
• Proven experience on major construction projects.
• Experience in petrochemical, fuel, mining and/or construction projects advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA and Construction Regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, H&S plans and statutory appointments.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
• Willing to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable laptop with valid Microsoft Office licence.
• Criminal Record Check required with application.
