Job summary

Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a disciplined Safety Administrator to join the Health & Safety team on a large-scale construction project. The role focuses on daily admin support, file maintenance, and accurate documentation for audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate will handle H&S records, keep registers up to date, and assist with inductions, training records and safety communications. A Matric and a relevant H&S certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Health & Safety qualification or certificate is advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily admin support to the Health & Safety Manager and project team.
• Maintain and update project H&S files and records.
• Ensure H&S documents are filed, controlled and audit-ready.
• Maintain H&S registers, trackers and databases.
• Monitor safety documentation and certificates expiry dates.
• Assist with subcontractor H&S documentation administration.
• Assist with site inductions and maintain induction records.
• Record training, competency and certification details.
• Maintain toolbox talks and H&S communications records.
• Capture incident, near-miss and safety observation data.
• Prepare H&S weekly/monthly statistics and reports.
