Job summary

JV Human Capital is seeking an experienced Estimator for a well known hardware chain in Worcester, Western Cape. You will analyse plans, bills of quantities and other project documents to estimate costs and prepare detailed cost reports.

You will research, source and negotiate prices, assess financial and operational risks, stay updated on construction technologies and regulatory requirements, and maintain close communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• analysing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs
• researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices
• analysing data that can affect costs
• assessing the financial, technical and operational risks of the project
• staying aware of the latest construction technologies
• keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements
• working closely with clients
• keeping detailed records and writing reports.
