Key Outputs
- Component Rebuild Analyst responsible for developing and executing a repair options program which will create an important and competitive service differentiation. In addition, support component repair operations through standard work to comply with CAT CRC Certification requirements regarding standard segment usage.
- Engage with internal customers (Regions) to support building of repair options.
- Annual review of BR standard cost.
- Required to build RO (Report options) and SJ (Standard jobs) in SOC/ Builder G3 programme.
- Required to build BR component installation kit as required by CRC Certification.
- Drive the use of standard segment templates within the BRC to ensure an 85% usage as per CRC Certification.
- Review BR cost analysis during the repair process and notify regions of incorrect core and additional charges.
- Management of BR Core WIP in the repair process (No BR WIP waiting go-ahead > 90 Days).
- Manage budget pricing and repair cost data in Planning.
- Manage PCV account through cost analysis to ensure correct level of repair, correct core assessments, and BR pricing aligned with standard of repair.
- Manage standard labour templates (Update in ERP and planning system).
- Create and maintain must fit parts (MFP) files for operation use and to support CPRO process.
- Annual BR component cost review for movable stock due to exchange rate fluctuations.
- Validate quality of repair on BR Cores during the repair process to ensure a healthy PCV balance.
- Engage with internal customers to build different repair options to meet external customer needs.
- Build and maintain repair options (Builder G3, SOC, and CAT Calculator) for business and customers.
- Provide information to operations to support effective repair of components using must fit parts files (MFP).
- Manage quality of must fit parts files (MFP) to support CPRO process.
- Responsible for BR Component repair cost analysis during the repair process to validate quality and level of repair.
- Manage component standard hours (ERP Labour templates and Planning system).
- Manage standard segment usage for CAT Certification requirements.
- BR Core WIP management.
- Manage PCV Account through repair cost analysis during the repair process.
- Effective self-management and performance ownership.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic).
- Minimum 5 years post-apprentice / learnership experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with component rebuild within a component repair facility.
- Computer literate and experience with MS Excel and MS Access.
- CAT Software experience (Builder G3 / SOC / Cat Calculator / SIS).
- ERP System experience (SAP/CRM).
- MS Office experience (MS Access / Excel / Word).
- SharePoint experience.
- Power BI certified.
