Indexa South Africa Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee reporting obligations within a regulated financial services environment. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risk to protect the organisation.

You will manage external reporting to authorities such as FSCA and FIC, lead AML controls, and guide the business on compliance matters while maintaining high standards of ethics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 5 years of compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs experience within financial services.
• Experience in an FSP, bank, or asset management firm is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FSCA regulations, FAIS Act, FIC Act, and AML laws.
• Familiarity with compliance software and reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and ethical judgment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

JOB TITLE: Compliance Manager Additional Reporting Obligations

Apart from internal reporting, the Compliance Officer also has external regulatory responsibilities, including:

• Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA): Ensuring adherence to FAIS Act and submitting regulatory reports.
• Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC): Reporting suspicious transactions under FICA (for money laundering prevention).
