Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
• Performing basic clinical tasks such as administering injections, drawing blood, and conducting EKGs as directed by physicians.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Assisting with billing and coding procedures, including verifying insurance information.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and providing education on treatment plans and medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
