Job summary

Stethoscope SA is seeking an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary to provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision, aligning with SANC, DOH, and National Core standards.

You will perform duties including aseptic technique, medication handling, patient positioning, documentation, infection control, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Minimum 5 years as ENA preferred; SANC registration required. Flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Provide direct and indirect patient care according to Scope of Practice.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
• Record and audit health records and specimen registers.
• Ensure safe use of supplies and stock management.
• Maintain CPR/BLS competence and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform duties in line with SANC and DOH standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and perioperative care.
• Communicate care plans with patients and team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and medico-legal compliant environment.
