Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
• Certification in a relevant caregiving field is an advantage.
• Understanding of geriatric care needs and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and light household tasks as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
• Engage clients in social activities, conversation, and light exercises to promote well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' condition or behaviour to the supervisor.
