Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Social Support Facilitator to assist individuals and families in Richards Bay, focusing on needs assessment and access to housing, health, education, and employment services.

You will coordinate resources, maintain confidential case files, and work with government departments and NGOs to improve client outcomes in KwaZulu-Natal. A supportive team environment and opportunities for continuous learning within community services are provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a social support or case management role.
• Knowledge of local social services and community structures in Richards Bay.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough needs assessments for individuals and families seeking support services.
