Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a busy Welkom pharmacy. You will dispense medications accurately, counsel patients on treatments, manage inventory and ensure regulatory compliance in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with SAPC and a valid license to practice.
• Experience in community pharmacy is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and relevant legislation.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients on use, side effects and storage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering, receiving and stocking.
• Provide OTC recommendations and basic health advice to customers.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient therapy.
