Requirements :
- A degree in Health and Social Science. A minimum of 3 years working experience within the HTS counselling and testing with strong knowledge of current HAST policies and Guidelines. Good communication skills. Strong knowledge of national HTS guidelines and policies, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Experience in training and supervising staff, Proficiency in data analysis and reporting Computer literacy. Ability to function under pressure. A valid Driver's license.
Duties :
- Overseeing the implementation of HIV Testing Services at the Sub-District level, Provide technical support and mentoring for Community Health Workers (CHWs) reporting under HAST, train and supervise HIV testing staff in facilities and at outreach services Ensure adherence to national HIV testing guidelines and protocols, Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities for HIV testing services(SPI RT/RTCQI/PT), Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, Monitor and evaluate HIV testing services, including data analysis and reporting, Provide counselling and support services to clients, as needed, Identify and address barriers to HIV testing and linkage to care ,Coordinate and conduct outreach campaigns according to the health calendar in collaboration with other intergovernmental departments, NPO's, private sectors and CBO's. Monitor and strengthen Condom Distribution in all Primary Distribution Sites (PDSs) within Tshwane Sub-Districts. Monitor and conduct support visits to DoH funded HTS NPO's for monitoring of budget and program compliance. Compile and submit reports (monthly, quarterly and annually). Identify training needs for CHWs. Conduct in-service training to capacitate CHWs. Lead and form part of the subdistrict forum cluster.
