Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Engagement Specialist to help improve community well-being in Rustenburg, North West. You will design and implement outreach programs, foster participation, and ensure community voices inform service delivery.

You will build relationships with community leaders and residents, organize workshops and information sessions, create materials for newsletters and social media, and monitor outcomes to demonstrate impact.

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Relations, or related field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or a similar role, preferably within North West province.
• Excellent understanding of community dynamics and participatory approaches.
• Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.
• Organisational and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Experience in developing and disseminating communication materials.
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
