Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Community Engagement Officer to foster strong relationships within Soweto and surrounding areas in Gauteng. The role focuses on building bridges between the client and local residents, organizing community events, and addressing community needs to support CSR initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related fields, 2–3 years of relevant experience, excellent communication, and a proven ability to engage diverse community

• 2-3 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, social work, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and local issues in Gauteng region.

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build positive relationships with local residents and stakeholders.
• Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach programs.
