Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Facilitator for a fully remote contractor position. You will design and implement virtual engagement strategies, run online meetings and workshops, and build strong relationships with community members and local organizations across Paarl, Western Cape, and beyond.

You will craft clear online communications, manage digital platforms, and report insights to inform program development.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Community Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Proven experience in community engagement, facilitation, or stakeholder relations, preferably remotely.
• Excellent virtual facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Teams and digital engagement tools.

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dynamic and skilled Community Engagement Facilitator for a fully remote contractor position. This role is pivotal in fostering strong connections and facilitating dialogue between our organization and the communities we serve across Paarl, Western Cape and beyond. You will be responsible for designing and implementing creative engagement strategies, gathering community insights, and ensuring that our initiatives are responsive to local needs. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, adept at building rapport virtually, and passionate about community development. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to connect with diverse groups and stakeholders without geographical constraints.
