Job summary

Placements24 seeks a dedicated Social Development Facilitator to drive positive change and empower individuals and communities in Paarl. You will design and implement programs addressing social challenges, promote well-being, and foster sustainable development through collaboration with residents, leaders, and service providers.

You will facilitate workshops, build partnerships, monitor impact, and prepare progress reports while contributing to community empowerment and development in the Paarl

Qualifications

• Experience in community development, social work, or a related field.
• Proven ability to facilitate group processes and community engagement activities.
• Strong understanding of social challenges and development principles.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Identify social development needs and opportunities within the target community.
• Design, implement, and manage social development projects and programs.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community dialogues to promote engagement and skill-building.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local authorities, and partner organizations.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of development initiatives.
• Prepare reports on project progress, outcomes, and recommendations for future actions.
