Job summary

Boomerang Marketing in Cape Town is seeking an energetic Outbound Sales (BAE) to join our dynamic insurance sales team. You will make high-volume outbound calls, sell long-term or short-term insurance, and aim to exceed targets while working in a commission-based pay structure.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of outbound insurance sales experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to close sales. This role is on-site in Cape Town and rewards performance with commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outbound insurance sales experience (short-term or long-term insurance required).
• Strong cold calling and objection-handling skills.
• Proven ability to close sales in a competitive environment.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with commission-only earning.
• Excellent communication skills — confident, clear, and persuasive.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to potential customers daily.
• Sell long-term insurance products confidently and compliantly.
• Use persuasive communication to convert leads into paying policyholders.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the most suitable insurance product.
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
• Follow all FAIS, FICA, and industry regulatory requirements.
• Uphold a professional, customer-focused approach on every call.
