About the Role

Our client, a growing regional airline operating in South Africa, is seeking highly qualified Commercial Pilots holding an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) to join their flight crew based in Klerksdorp, North West . You will be responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft, ensuring the well-being of passengers and crew during all phases of flight. The ideal candidate is a seasoned aviator with excellent decision-making skills, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and outstanding crew resource management (CRM) abilities. You will operate modern aircraft and work within a professional and dedicated flight operations department. Key Responsibilities

• Commanding and piloting assigned aircraft safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring all pre-flight inspections, checks, and preparations are completed thoroughly.
• Adhering to flight plans, air traffic control instructions, and company operating procedures.
• Monitoring flight instruments, weather conditions, and aircraft systems throughout the flight.
• Making critical decisions regarding flight safety, including diversion or emergency procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by a recognized aviation authority (e.g., SACAA).
• A current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• A minimum of 1500 flight hours, with significant multi-engine and instrument time.
• Type rating and experience on relevant aircraft types (specify if applicable, e.g., King Air, Caravan).
• Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, and aircraft systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM) and threat and error management (TEM).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including irregular schedules, nights, and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background checks and security clearances.
• Eligible to live and work in South Africa and based in or able to relocate to Klerksdorp, North West .
