Responsabilités

• Command and operate company aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with flight schedules, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections, ensure aircraft are airworthy, and manage all aspects of flight operations.
• Plan flight routes, considering weather conditions, air traffic control instructions, and fuel requirements.
• Maintain constant communication with ATC and dispatch, providing timely updates and adhering to clearances.
• Manage cabin operations and ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo.
• Monitor aircraft systems and performance throughout the flight, taking appropriate action to address issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, emergency procedures, and fatigue management regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating.
• Minimum of 1500 total flight hours, with specific experience on relevant aircraft types (e.g., Cessna Caravan, Beechcraft King Air) as applicable to the fleet.
• Current Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated knowledge of aviation regulations, meteorology, navigation, and aircraft systems.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions in dynamic situations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and adhere to a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, based out of Stellenbosch, Western Cape .
