The role requires strong mechanical skills, plumbing and electrical knowledge, the ability to read manuals and blueprints, and a willingness to travel across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing commercial kitchen equipment or similar mechanical/electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems for catering equipment.
• Ability to read technical specifications and diagrams.
• Willingness to travel within Gauteng; gas connections experience is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect, and commission commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics for installation.
• Ensure installations comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Perform plumbing and electrical connections for equipment setup.
• Test installed equipment to verify operation and performance.
• Provide basic training to clients on operation and maintenance.
