Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to lead FP&A, budgeting and strategic financial partnering for a major FMCG unit. This fully remote role can be performed from anywhere in South Africa, requiring strong leadership and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

You will drive pricing, promotions, investment analyses and product launch decisions while ensuring robust cost management and governance.

Formación

• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A or management accounting, preferably FMCG.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and business case development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Requirements

• CA (SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or management accounting, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and business case development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
• Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
