Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Commercial Design Architect for a distinguished architectural practice based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead design conception, develop detailed plans, and ensure projects meet aesthetic, functional and regulatory requirements across commercial and mixed-use developments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of post-graduate experience, a strong portfolio, and expertise in AutoCAD, Revit and rendering tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years post-graduate experience in commercial and mixed-use design.
• Experience leading design teams and managing multiple projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and rendering tools (V-Ray, Lumion).
• Strong understanding of SA building regulations and planning policies for Richards Bay and KwaZulu-Natal.
• Ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into technically sound solutions.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and design development of commercial and mixed-use architectural projects.
