Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join its in-house legal team in Soweto, Gauteng. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and provide practical legal advice to business units.

The ideal candidate is admitted in SA, with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in contract law, and will ensure compliance with laws and company policies while managing contract lifecycles and disputes.

• Must be admitted as an attorney of the High Court in South Africa.
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in commercial contract law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Thorough understanding of South African contract law and general commercial principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in an in-house legal department is advantageous.
