You’ll ensure safe, efficient operation by applying strong boiler knowledge, combustion principles, and strict safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with burners, pumps, and controls, plus the ability to read technical documents and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Boiler Technician or in a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of commercial boiler systems including steam and hot water boilers.
• Experience with burner systems, combustion analysis, and control systems.
• Relevant trade certification or qualification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and servicing of commercial boilers and associated systems.
• Diagnose and repair boiler malfunctions, including burners, pumps, valves, and controls.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
• Install new boiler systems and replace components as needed.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
