Job summary

Humankind Group is seeking a commercially minded Commercial & Pricing Manager in Johannesburg to lead tender pricing, build robust costing models, and provide clear financial insight for strategic decisions.

You will partner with Operations, Finance, Business Development and Legal to deliver competitive submissions, test assumptions across cost drivers, and model ROI/NPV scenarios while leading a team of Pricing Analysts.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification essential.
• 5-8 years' experience in cost accounting, pricing, commercial finance or tender pricing.
• Experience pricing complex opportunities with multiple cost drivers.
• Strong cost accounting, financial modelling and commercial judgement.
• Confidence constructingively challenging assumptions and explaining insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Logistics, supply chain or asset-intensive operations experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead costing and pricing for tenders, RFPs, RFQs and contract renewals.
