Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng seeks a Pricing Analyst with commercial acumen and strong analytical skills. You will analyse costs, pricing structures and supplier offers to drive smarter purchasing decisions in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Finance and Operations to develop costing and pricing models, monitor cost drivers and support margin improvement through accurate analyses and insightful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma
• 5+ years' relevant experience
• Experience working with costing and pricing models
• Strong understanding of cost drivers and cost structures

Responsibilities

• Analysing supplier pricing, cost breakdowns and key cost drivers
• Developing and maintaining costing and pricing models
• Conducting costing, should-cost and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
• Monitoring price movements, inflation, exchange rate impacts and supplier increases
• Analysing price variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Supporting supplier negotiations with detailed pricing and cost insights
• Reviewing and validating supplier quotes, tenders and pricing adjustments
• Benchmarking pricing against market data, historical spend and alternative suppliers

An established business within the manufacturing/industrial sector is looking for a Pricing Analyst who can bring strong commercial insight and help drive smarter purchasing and pricing decisions.

As the Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing supplier pricing, understanding cost structures and supporting commercial decisions through accurate pricing models and detailed cost analysis.
