Isilumko Staffing is seeking an experienced Collections Operations Manager to oversee and optimise collections, recoveries, and credit operations within a regulated financial services environment. You will lead a high-performing team, drive improvements, and mitigate credit risk while ensuring compliant operations.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on experience in debt management and collections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Business Management, or related field.
• FAIS Accreditation.
• 4–6 years' experience in debt management services.
• 4–6 years' experience in credit operations, collections, recoveries, or operational risk management.
• Proven people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day collections and recoveries operations.
• Manage delinquent accounts and implement effective collection strategies.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in collections.
• Analyse client portfolios to identify risks and intervention needs.
• Maintain risk registers and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the collections team.
