Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking a detail‑oriented logistics professional for a challenging role in a cold‑storage environment. The successful candidate will manage receiving and dispatching of goods, ensure HACCP documentation is up-to-date, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced operation.

Matric with a Supply Chain qualification and 3–5 years’ experience in warehousing/cold storage are required. You must be able to work independently, think on your feet, and communicate effectively to

Qualifications

• Matric / Senior Certificate is required.
• Supply Chain Management qualification is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience within Supply Chain, Warehousing or Cold Storage.
• Experience in a cold-storage environment is essential.
• Experience with receiving and dispatching goods.
• Good understanding of HACCP procedures and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to think on your feet and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the effective receiving of goods.
• Check incoming goods for accuracy, quantity and condition.
• Manage and monitor the dispatching of goods to local customers.
• Ensure products are handled correctly during loading and off-loading to prevent damage.
• Complete and maintain all required HACCP documentation and protocols.
• Ensure all cold-store procedures and food-safety requirements are followed.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods or issues with receiving and dispatch.
• Assist in other operational areas when required.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping throughout the receiving and dispatch process.
• Work independently and use initiative to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
