Job summary

Vector Logistics Rustenburg is seeking a Warehouse/Despatch Operator to assure accurate, compliant handling of frozen poultry products from plant-based cold storage. The role focuses on maintaining cold chain integrity, stock verification, and support for FEFO rotation and despatch documentation.

Responsibilities include loading activities, stock checks, daily temperature records and collaboration with operations to meet KPI targets while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (minimum).
• 2–3 years warehouse/despatch experience in FMCG, food production or cold storage.
• Basic computer literacy essential.
• Understanding of FEFO rotation and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Verify batch numbers, stock cases, quantities and pallet configurations before loading.
• Prepare and validate despatch documentation and temperature records.
• Coordinate loading to ensure on-time truck turnaround and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and FEFO rotation practices.
• Take daily temperatures and maintain temperature records.
• Collate stock counts and assist with inventory accuracy checks.
• Process customer returns and complete associated documentation.
