Coral & Canopy in Umhlanga is seeking a capable bartender to join our bar and restaurant team. You will prepare beverages, interact with guests, take orders and ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include mixing cocktails, stocking supplies, checking IDs, and presenting the bar menu. A friendly, pressur e-ready attitude and prior bar experience are advantageous. Live-out position, English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Strong numerical ability for cash handling and reporting.
• Friendly, approachable with some form of client experience.
• Ability to handle complaints in a courteous manner.
• Previous bar experience will be an advantage.
• Live-out position.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
