Job summary

IgniteByte Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large CMS redevelopment project in Sandton, South Africa. You will own the project plan, budget, risk register and the delivery team from discovery through go-live and into hyper-care, coordinating security and compliance with the client IT function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' project management experience in website development, CMS or cloud/digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycles: planning, budgeting, risk management and reporting.
• Bachelor-level or diploma in IT/CS/Software Eng or related field (NQF 6+).
• Citizen of South Africa; immediate or short-notice availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of CMS/website redevelopment from discovery through go-live and hyper-care.
• Lead cross-functional delivery team including technical architect, CMS/front-end developers, BA, QA and UI/UX designer.
• Interface with client stakeholders and IT security to sign off hosting, security, and compliance.
• Track budget, milestones, sprint cadence and risk register; report status to executive sponsors.
• Coordinate UAT, client staff training on the new CMS, and post-go-live handover.
