Job summary

IgniteByte Digital (Pty) Ltd in Sandton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a CMS redevelopment project from discovery through go-live and into hyper-care.

You will own the project plan, budget, risk register and delivery team, coordinating with client stakeholders and their IT security function to ensure hosting, security and compliance sign-off. The role requires 5+ years in website development or CMS projects and strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in website development or CMS projects
• National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in Information Technology/CS/Software Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycles: planning, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder reporting
• Must be a South African citizen
• Immediate or short-notice availability strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of a CMS/website redevelopment project through discovery, design, development, testing, content migration and launch
• Manage a cross-functional delivery team: technical architect, CMS/front-end developers, business analyst, QA/tester and UI/UX designer
• Interface with client stakeholders and their IT security function on hosting, security and compliance sign-off (e.g. POPIA, secure infrastructure review)
• Track budget, milestones, sprint cadence and risk register, report status to executive sponsors on both sides
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, client staff training on the new CMS, and post-go-live hyper care/support handover

• Demonstrated experience managing full projectlifecycles: planning/Gantt or sprint scheduling, budgeting, risk management,and stakeholder reporting.
• Must be a South African citizen

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.

Advantageous

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.
